DTL 2025 Impact Report!

Another year has passed, which means we’ve exported the .CSV files and ran the semi-questionable math so we can tell you the highlights of our Impact in 2025!

Thanks to all of you who have supported the Denver Tool Library in any way big or small. The impact we make can only happen because you’re spending some bucks, donating some tools, or just DMing us to tell us what a cool concept we are (it keeps morale high). Because of YOU we’ve managed to break our records again this year in terms of financial assistance given, classes taught by local makers/artists, and the sheer volume of tools that has gone in and out of our door.

Your Impact in 2025

Here is a look at what we accomplished together this year:

  • You Saved Over $1,032,000 this year. That is money staying in your pockets and circulating in our local economy.

  • You Reduced Waste: By sharing our inventory of 5,000+ tools, we diverted over 20.6 tons of tool waste from the landfill.

  • You Built Skills: We hosted 497 classes for 3,615 students. That represents thousands of hours of people learning to weld, woodwork, sew, and repair their homes.

  • You Shared the Tools: Thanks to our Share the Tools Fund, we provided over $25,200 in financial assistance to 203 individuals and 5 organizations. This ensures that cost is never a barrier to building a safe home or a creative life.

This year with your help we’ll break all of our records again, so be sure to pick yourself up a membership, take some classes, make a donation, or drop off a six-pack of your fav beverage during open shop hours.
