HOOP ART ESSENTIALS EMBROIDERY CLASS
First Dates: Wednesday, February 25th & Monday, March 9th 2026
In this class, you’ll gain the skills to complete a 3" hoop project from start to finish. You will have the choice to use our provided flora and fauna themed patterns, or you are welcome to bring your own small (2.5”x2.5” max) image to stitch. Explore your self-expression in this "sexy edition" of our embroidery essentials workshop! Designed for total beginners, this class combines the traditional craft of needlework with body-positive and sex-positive themes. You will have the choice to use our provided patterns, or you are welcome to bring your own small (2.5”x2.5” max) image to stitch. Whether you want to stitch a cheeky phrase, a body-affirming outline, or a spicy motif, you’ll learn the skills to bring it to life. We provide a safe, inclusive space to learn the technical skills of embroidery while celebrating individuality. About Your Teacher
Steffie Notion is a passionate textile artist with a deep-rooted love for sewing that began at the age of 8. Known for her body-positive hand embroidery, Steffie’s work celebrates individuality and self-expression through fabric. Her sewing practice emphasizes sustainability, focusing on altering and mending existing clothing rather than contributing to fast fashion. Steffie strives to create more than she consumes, turning each piece into a work of art that speaks to both personal identity and environmental mindfulness. Through her art, she aims to empower others to embrace their bodies and make intentional, thoughtful choices in their wardrobes.
