Permaculture / Lawn / Gardening Instructor (Contractor)

Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled and passionate permaculture / gardening instructor. We are primarily interested in someone teaching a permaculture class similar to this listing, and you’ll have the opportunity to design and lead your own lawn & garden related classes. If you're enthusiastic about sharing your expertise, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

- Teach 1-2 classes per month 

- Plan and prepare your own classes, including curriculum development and materials lists

- Purchase and transport all necessary materials and equipment for each class

- Collaborate with our team to develop and refine curriculum and class offerings

- Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and guidance to students

- Encourage students to explore their creativity and build confidence

Requirements:

- 4+ years of permaculture / gardening experience

- Teaching or instructing experience

- Strong knowledge of permaculture and gardening techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

- Certification in permaculture, gardening, or a related field (desired but not required)

Compensation:

- Teachers receive 50% of ticket sales for each class taught (roughly $200-$300 per class) 

- Teachers receive 50% reimbursement of materials purchased

- Opportunities for professional development and growth
