Cedar Planter Boxes Woodworking Class
With Sineah McGrady
!Note: This class is on pause until the end of 2024!
*You do not need to take any of our Woodworking Fundamentals classes including Woodworking I, II, or III in order to take this class. No experience is required.
Build your own beautiful planter box for your garden with Sineah! Planter boxes have a large number of advantages including soil control, pest control, ease of maintenance, improved drainage, extended growing season, going easy on your back, and they look great especially when you build them yourself. This class is beginner friendly - all skill levels welcome, woodworking experience not required!
In addition to taking home an 18” x 18” planter box, you will acquire the know-how to build more planters on your own, and you’ll be able to apply your woodworking skills to other creative endeavors in the future. In this workshop you will learn to use the following tools: miter saw, table saw, nail gun, bandsaw, and drill.
Instead of taking on this project alone at home and carving out time for research, shopping, building and clean up, we can accomplish all that together in one window of time in the DTL Community Workshop. Get support, gather inspiration, and make friends with likeminded people!
