First Friday Free Community Events

A VERY SPECIAL AUGUST 7TH, 2026 FIRST FRIDAY:

This next First Friday is the big one where they shut down the street!

We’ll be doing a special event where you can screen print you’re own DTL shirt (or tote bag, or pants, or patch, or whatever you want really so long as it fits). Bring a blank shirt, or purchase one from us, and pick a design. Click here to RSVP for free.

We will have music, drinks, a limited amount of pizza (so come early!).

August 7th 5pm-9pm. $5 dollar suggested donation.

FIRST FRIDAY CRAFT PARTIES

Celebrate First Friday with the DTL community during the Santa Fe Art Walk! Join us every month this summer from 6pm – 9pm for a night of music, drinks, and creativity.

Bring your current project to work on or participate in our "Bring Some, Take Some" supply swap to refresh your materials stash. It’s a great chance for members, volunteers, staff, and anyone interested in the DTL to hang out, make friends, and craft together.

FAQ

  • This event is for members, volunteers, staff, and anyone interested in the DTL!

  • Bring any craft project you’re currently working on and any unwanted art supplies you’d like to trade at our supply swap.

  • It’s a "take what you need, leave what you can" station for craft materials. Bring your extras and go home with something new!

  • The First Friday of every month from 6pm - 9pm at the Denver Tool Library.
