Donate Tools in Good Working Condition
Ready to clean out the garage? Maybe we can help!
Fun Fact: Donated tools make up about 90% of our inventory. By donating your working tools that are just taking up space in your garage, not only will you share them with your neighbors and beyond, but you can come back and borrow them when you actually need them. The Denver Tool Library is a 501c3 nonprofit, which means your contributions are tax deductible.
If you have working tools you wish to donate, please reach out to our Inventory Coordinator Scott at scott@denvertoollibrary.org with a description of the items, and pics if you can. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ALL TOOLS, so it’s important to check in with our team before you load up the truck.
We are especially looking for...
Portable table saws
Compressors/hoses
Hammer drills
Orbital sanders
Impact drivers
Multitools
Weed whackers
Demo hammers
Pneumatic nailers
We are not accepting…
broken tools
basic hand tools (ie caulk guns, screwdrivers, hammers, etc)
tools with dead/nearly dead batteries
battery powered tools without batteries/chargers
tools we have have too many of in inventory
Corporate Tool Sponsorship
What's so special about partnering with the DTL? We are the first and only 501c3 non-profit of our kind in Denver. We lend both power and hand tools to members for an affordable annual membership fee, so we are in the unique position of recommending your tools AND allowing members to actually demo your tools.
What are we looking for? In-kind donations of power tools (not limited to new in box - refurbished or floor models are great, too) to help us meet the increasing demand of our busy patrons.
If a program like this interests you, please CONTACT US for a description of our organization, stats of our rapidly growing memberships, programming, outreach/social media impact, and more info about how we can benefit you.
