April Cleans Her Car's MAF
April recently took our “Knowing Your Car” class and was inspired to give her old car some TLC! Follow along as she teaches you how to uninstall, clean and reinstall a mass airflow sensor. This is a fast and easy project that only requires a flat head and philips head screwdriver, which of course you can rent from the Denver Tool Library.
Why clean your mass airflow sensor? If you’ve noticed less power, rough idling and/or acceleration issues in your vehicle, it could be that your MAF has gotten clogged with dirt and debris. Over time, this build up can affect the air-to-fuel ratio, causing acceleration and power issues in your vehicle. Give it a clean and notice how your engine runs more efficiently!
Want to better understand what’s going on under the hood of your car? Check out our “Knowing Your Car” class on Saturday, August 10th!
