You do not need to take any of our Woodworking Fundamentals classes including Woodworking I, II, or III in order to take this class. No experience is required.

We'll guide you through the entire process, from selecting wood and milling it square to assembling a durable design. You’ll leave with a finished, food-safe cutting board you made yourself and the confidence to safely use key woodshop tools. What You’ll Make:
An original hardwood cutting board from a medley of assorted hardwoods to suit all of your chopping or slicing needs.

About the Teacher
Professional woodworker and all-around great guy Ian Saunders will be teaching this informative class. Ian is an independent woodworker crafting beautiful tables, desks, bars and art. He went to Red Rocks Community College for furniture making and developed his woodworking skills as an apprentice under a cabinet maker. Ian has been in education most of his life including teaching youth carpentry, natural building, and safety.
