Our Sunday, September 27th Repair Fair was another big ol’ success! A ton of neighbors showed up to fix broken items and learn some new repair skills.
Huge thanks to everyone who brought by their beloved items, and to the volunteer fixers who shared their time, tools, and know-how to keep good things out of the trash.
The Numbers
45 attendees
37 items brought in
31 repairs completed
84% partial or full fix rate
131kg of waste diverted from the landfill
Carbon Impact

Driving 4,986 miles
Flying 7,321 miles
Taking 750 showers
Repair Spotlight: Mannequin Modding
Brittany stopped by our Toy Repair station to get some help modifying a mannequin for her costume builds. We set up a jigsaw and trimmed down the mannequin thumbs so the hands could properly fit her designs. If you want to see the finished result in person, Brittany’s cosplay is on display at Tallyn's Reach Library through the end of October!
What is Next?
If you missed this one, keep an eye on our weekly newsletter and social pages for the next Repair Fair date. You can also join us as a volunteer fixer or drop by during open shop hours to work on your own DIY repairs!
